The Cataracs – Ready For The Weekend
Over the last few years, there have only been a small handful of artists who I have had higher hopes for when it comes to taking over pop than The Cataracs but since their split last summer, Cyrano carrying on as a solo artist still under the moniker of “The Cataracs” has all seemed a little strange and unprofessional, especially as the music he’s been putting out hasn’t been too great either.
However, when I saw that he’d remixed Icona Pop’s “Ready For The Weekend, I had to check it out as it was one of my favourite dance tracks of the closing stages of 2012 and I think it’s fair to say that although I still prefer the original, Cyrano may have just managed to turn it into even more of a club banger than it was already!
