Teedra Moses – Be Your Girl (Kaytranada Edition)
New Orleans singer-songwriter Teedra Moses’ 2004 single “Be Your Girl” has always been a brilliant R&B song, which is a lot down to the fact that although it was very much a chilled out, laidback number, it still had a very prominent funky, uptempo, finger-snapping vibe to it. That said vibe is exactly what upcoming Montreal producer Kaytranada has embraced here, turning it up 10 notches, morphing it into a 2013 feelgood floorfiller.
