Maejor Ali ft. Juicy J & Justin Bieber – Lolly
It’s official – Bei Maejor is back! Under the slightly dubious new moniker of Maejor Ali, the Michigan hailing producer/singer/songwriter/rapper premiered his brand new single on this morning’s (4th Feb 2013) Breakfast Club on New York City’s Power 105.1 radio station.
Featuring a rap verse from Justin Bieber (Maejor has previously written Bieber’s “One Love” from his “Believe” album, here is Maejor’s original demo) and one of right now’s most surprising hip hop rejuvenations, Juicy J, it stays true to his trademark “upscale” sound, following very much the same formula as his first two official singles (“Trouble” and “Lights Down Low“), which does raise the question of whether the name change was really necessary.
However, I’m glad to say that it does sound as if he’s finally got a hit on his hands and the power of the Bieber has meant that “Lolly” has already trended worldwide on twitter!
