Luke James – I.O.U.
Having been one of this year’s more surprising (but certainly deserving) Grammy nominees, New Orleans R&B singer/songwriter Luke James (who’s work you may have unknowingly heard previously as he wrote Chris Brown’s “Crawl“) is back with a brand new single “I.O.U.”. It’s a dreamy, mid-tempo R&B track and although it’s probably not one of my favourites from him, it certainly is worth a few spins and if this is the first you’re hearing of Luke, remember the name as 2013 is shaping up to be a very big year for the Def Jam signee.
