Admittedly, I’m not totally up on King Los’ music but from what I had previously heard from the Bad Boy signee (who has been cropping up in a lot of different places over the past few months), I wasn’t totally won over. However, here’s a brand new track from him, “Wrong Places”, that has changed all of that.
With a smooth as ever hook from Eric Bellinger, Los reflects on the trials and tribulations of his come up and if this is any indication of what to expect from him in the future, I could certainly see a big gap in the market opening for him. I’m not sure if we’ll ever be hearing a new album from his boss Diddy but if that is in planning, it would be very interesting to see Los writing for that in a similar vein to “Wrong Places”, offering a more reflective, vulnerable outlook in his rhymes.
What do you think?
