This isn’t brand new but I was only recently put onto Kinetics and already being a fan of Wynter Gordon, I had to check this out. Kinetics and One Love are a NYC hailing rapper/producer duo who it turns out originally created what would eventually become B.o.B’s “Airplanes”, of which their original demo you can hear below.
After their mixtape “Fading Back to Normal” found its way into the hands of A&Rs at Atlantic and Warner Music Group in early 2010, “Airplanes” was quickly snapped up by Atlantic to serve as B.o.B’s second single and the duo signed a publishing deal with Warner, which has since seen them write for the likes of Sean Kingston and Nicki Minaj.
They have also released two critically acclaimed independent albums of their own, the second of which “Sign Language” appears on, telling a rather unfortunate tale of misinformed teenage love, with a twist that I’m certain you were not expecting.
Wynter Gordon sounds and looks stunning on the chorus, Kinetics and One Love both do what they do best and be expecting some brand new material for 2013 from the duo on LozzaMusic.com very soon. In the meantime though, press play on “Sign Language” below and listen carefully!
