Wiz Khalifa ft. The Weeknd – Remember You
With pressure coming from his label to recapture some of the commercial success of “Black & Yellow” and pressure from his fans to return to his earlier mixtape style, no one really knew quite what to expect from the lead single from Wiz Khalifa’s sophmore major label release, “O.N.I.F.C.”.
Whatever you were anticipating though, I’m pretty sure of two things: one, that this wasn’t what it and two, that it’s better than what you were expecting.
Hats of to Wiz, he really has taken it to the next level on this one and whether you’re a fan or not, the sound of this is way ahead of its time and a sign of what I believe hip-hop and R&B will be morphing into over the next couple of years, if things keep progressing in the right direction.
