Ellie Goulding – Anything Could Happen | Official Music Video

Over the past couple of months, we’ve heard some absolutely stunning new remixes from Ellie Goulding, as well as achieving a US number two hit with a song released a year prior to its success (Lights) and with her sophmore album Halcyon set to drop on 8th October, we finally have the official video for the project’s lead single, Anything Could Happen, right here!

The track isn’t quite up to the level of what we’ve been hearing from her lately and I was hoping for something that would capture the imagination a little bit more, but it is about as Ellie Goulding as it gets and there really is no stopping her right now.

I do still really like it and by anyone else’s standards (and her previous standards), it is a very good song but I just thought that she really had everything in place right now to unleash something groundbreaking, and this isn’t quite there.
