Alicia Keys – Brand New Me (Live)
Forget Watch The Throne, if there was once concert I could have gone to this year that I missed, it would have been Alicia Keys on her return to London last night, at the Camden Roundhouse for the iTunes festival. In between reeling off classic after classic, Ms Keys debuted a brand new track by the name of “Brand New Me”, which was co-written with Emeli Sande (the pair have previously collaborated on Emeli’s album track “Hope”) and before performing the track, she explained:
“This one’s my autobiography. I love this song. This song is so, so, so important to me and I’m very excited to sing it for ya’ll.
I think it’s fair to say that this girl is still on fire. Have a listen to the live version below and her fifth album, “Girl On Fire”, drops somewhen in November.
